Most Small Companies Make Charitable Donations, Survey Finds

Small businesses give generously to charity, contributing 6 percent of their profits, on average, to nonprofit organizations.

That headline and snippet suggest the key takeaway is that most small businesses actively donate to charity, and the average contribution equals 6% of their profits.
