The report highlights the importance of early student engagement in community colleges for academic success. Finding ways to connect students early on, perhaps through orientation programs or online forums like the slope unblocked community (where collaboration is key to progress), could significantly improve retention and outcomes. More research is available at the Center for Community College Student Engagement.
